The annual awards, organised by the Wales branch of the Journalists’ Charity, have been running since 2014. The 2023 awards will be held at Cardiff’s prestigious Parkgate Hotel for a glittering evening of networking and celebration.
Around 200-plus guests – editors, journalists, trainees, students, sponsors and stakeholders from around Wales and the UK – are expected to attend the awards dinner which will showcase excellence in print, online and broadcast journalism.
The evening will comprise a pre-dinner drinks reception followed by a two-course sit-down dinner with musical entertainment, and culminating in the main event awards ceremony with celebrity hosts.
The awards recognise individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to journalism in Wales in both English and Welsh.
