“It isn't easy to succeed as a freelance journalist, I know from experience. Many people suffer fear of rejection, disappointment after not hearing back from an editor about a pitch and imposter syndrome about pitching a dream publication. Being able to pass on what I've learned about how to overcome these challenges and obstacles, and supporting other freelance journalists who are struggling is very fulfilling and gives me a sense that I'm making a difference. I am grateful for the opportunity to help other journalists in need.”
