The Press Golfing Society has raised thousands for the Journalists’ Charity despite being unable to run an actual live golf day this year. The annual event, which is normally held at the Berkshire, had to be cancelled because of Coronavirus restrictions. Not to be deterred, the golfers swapped the green for the internet, hosting an online auction which raised an impressive total – £3125 to help journalists struggling through tough times. The charity is proud of its long standing association with the PGS and is truly grateful for their continued generosity.
If you’re disappointed to have missed out on the bidding, the charity is planning its own festive auction which will go live on the 17th of December.
