I am delighted to share a special message with you from our Patron, Her Majesty the Queen, as the charity celebrates 160 years since it was founded by Charles Dickens. Her Majesty acknowledges the outstanding work being undertaken by the charity during such challenging times for the industry, whilst highlighting our ongoing efforts to support the future generation of journalists.
Reflecting on the charity’s rich heritage and illustrious history as we mark this major milestone, I want to pay tribute to all those who have been part of our efforts to help journalists since 1864 – with special thanks for your continuing support today.
