‘What A Story’ a book packed full of favourite tales from journalists and news photographers and written in aid of The Journalist Charity has now been published.
Many of these tales, which vary from the quirky to the sensational and the bizarre to the frankly unbelievable, made headlines and earned bylines in their day, while others were stored away to be recalled decades later.
Compiled by journalists Nigel Heath and Peter Gibbs, half the profits will go to the charity helping it to provide life-changing support at a time when journalism has never been more important.
While What A Story is now available through Amazon Books, the door is still open if you feel inspired to make your contribution because further chapters can be added and an update version quickly published.
