Journalists’ Charity supporters are invited to attend a special live event on March 7 in central London highlighting the plight of journalists working in Taliban controlled Afghanistan.
6 months since the withdrawal of coalition forces, journalists in Afghanistan face oppression, kidnapping, violence and even murder, with women in the media facing the most severe threat.
Join Sky News Special Correspondent Alex Crawford, Christina Lamb from the Sunday Times, former International Development Secretary Rory Stewart and the BBC’s Yalda Hakim for the latest on efforts to support journalists under threat in Afghanistan, plus how you can play your part.
